Edfu & Aswan Private Day Tour Itinerary

We will pick you up at approximately 6:00 AM from your hotel and drive along the desert road to Edfu (about 240 km from Marsa Alam).

In Edfu, we will visit the Temple of Horus, Egypt's best-preserved sacred building. Our guide will tell you about the mythical battle between Horus and his uncle Seth...

Then we will drive along the country road to Aswan (about 100 km).

At a beautiful Nubian restaurant located on an island, we will enjoy a magnificent panoramic view during our oriental lunch.

Afterwards, we will visit the goddess Isis in her sanctuary on Philae Island. Here your guide will tell you the legendary story of "Isis and Osiris".

Then we will drive by bus to the High Dam and Lake Nasser. Has the dam only brought advantages to the country? Your guide will answer these and other questions.

We'll end the day with a sailboat ride on the Nile before returning by bus to Marsa Alam (about 340 km).
